We the staff of Chestnut Creek Baptist Church are excited about the magnificent work that God is doing within our church. We would like to extend an invitation for you to join us in worship of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that if you do not currently have a church home that you would consider coming and joining us here. If you currently have a church home then we trust that you are supporting and praying over your pastor on a daily basis as we do for ours.

| Senior Pastor, Derek Deavers, is an awesome man of God who preaches with passion and conviction the true and unadulterated word of God. As a Minister he is one of the most progressive men of God in any church today. As a Pastor he is loved and supported by the flock that God called him to shepherd here at Chestnut Creek over ten years ago.

Brother Jim Collins was talked out of retirement by Pastor Derek to come on board as an Associate Pastor of Discipleship. Pastor Derek has commented that Brother Jim is to him what Nathan was to David, wise counsel. Brother Jim is a contemporary thinker, full of wisdom, compassion and mercy. There is perhaps no man alive who loves to preach the Word of God as does Brother Jim Collins.

Wise beyond his years! This is how so many describe Philip. Saved and baptized at CCBC, one of, if not the youngest member to ever be ordained a deacon at CCBC and has spent several years as one of our student minsters. Phil now leads our youth ministry here at CCBC.

Pastor Derek’s boss! Leslee is one of the greatest singers in gospel music today. As Minister of Music, Leslee not only leads the awesome CCBC praise team, but she also puts together each service as well as each special program. Leslee has a heart for worship which allows her to lead others to the same heart of worship. She is special! Just ask Pastor Derek.
